Both boats are offered directly by their owner — a digital entrepreneur and dedicated sailor who has sailed extensively throughout the Mediterranean. No brokers, no intermediaries. You deal directly with the person who bought and equipped these boats.
The decision to choose the X-Yachts X4.9 was not made quickly. It came after a long search across some of the finest yachts in the 50-foot performance cruiser range, including models such as the Arcona 50, New Solaris 50, and Grand Soleil 52. In the end, the X4.9 stood out for its rare balance of comfort, safety, build quality, and genuinely fast cruising performance.
For sailors who value both safety and speed at sea, X-Yachts are widely regarded as one of the strongest choices in this class. Their construction quality, engineering, and long-term durability are part of the reason they hold their value so well. Under sail, the X4.9s feel solid, smooth, and composed — no unnecessary cracking sounds, no uncomfortable pounding of the bow, just confident and enjoyable Mediterranean cruising.
When the MkII version of the X4.9 was introduced, the owner wanted to move into the updated model as soon as possible. Now, with a new racing chapter ahead and the intention to step into X-Yachts’ XR41, one of these X4.9s needs to find a new home. The other will follow shortly after.
A full survey by your appointed surveyor is welcomed and encouraged. Sea trials can be arranged at a mutually convenient time. All original documentation, service records, invoices, and manuals are included in the sale.
